In two one-hour live sessions, participants will learn how to apply classroom techniques to the digital environment, the importance of tone, and best practices for facilitating online interaction.

Meet the Intructor

Ridvan Aliu has served Fortune 500 companies—Microsoft, Amazon, Disney and Real Networks—as program manager, senior software engineer and solution architect. He also founded a software consulting firm, Real Visualz, and became a direct vendor with Microsoft and Amazon.

While technology itself has been a constant in Ridvan's life, his true passion is to apply it to the field of education. In 2012, Ridvan created EDUonGo as a means to help anyone create their own online course—no programming knowledge required. As CEO, Ridvan is helping host more than 1,000 online academies around the world in his cloud-based management system. 

​Apart from creating new tools and features with the EDUonGo team, Ridvan teaches courses in computer science, mobile technology and web development at Bellevue College.
